6-foot-2 150-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 76-78 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch was 66-67 mph and big in shape. The pitch needs additional fastball hand speed to it for the deception and velocity can increase. The changeup was 72 -73 mph and trending in the right direction. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated, solid in tempo and he shows a bit of a back arch as the ball comes out of his glove. The glove has pull across the hitters face, taking him offline prior to getting the foot down. The arm is clean and free.
Rourke is a 6-foot-1, 150 pound right-handed pitching prospect. He pitches out of a modified stretch, that allows him to stay in line with home plate.The tracking of the front shoulder is solid and the tempo is fine. He works out of a higher arm slot, giving his fastball at 78-80 MPH some arm side movement. The breaking ball is a big over-hand pitch at 68 MPH and he showed the feel for a change-up at 72-74 MPH. The breaking ball can improve with more fastball hand speed added to the pitch.
