The former Future Gamer had a monster series and Week 1, on route to helping the Bears to a perfect 4-0 start. On the mound, he came in relief on Monday vs. St. Paul's and tossed 4 shutout innings to earn the win, and then turned around on Friday vs. West Monroe and earned the save, after another shutout inning. Offensively, the Houston recruit hit a game-tying double in Thursday's night win against the Rebels, and then belted two homeruns in Friday's contest.
