Panks has the look of a backstop at the next level with a physical and durable 6'1" 180 lbs. frame. This was the first time that we've seen the Southeastern Louisiana recruit, since he jumped on to our radar, in January of 2023, at our Hammond Preseason ID. Hitting out of the three-hole for the Lions, the left-handed hitter has a simple set-up in the box and gets his front foot down early to deliver a heavy barrel to contact, while staying on-plane through extension. Panks finished the night 2-4 at the plate with a couple of hard-hit singles, and also played solid defensively from the crouch.
