Caleb Washington: LHP/OF, (2020) Loureaville, LA. Southern Commit, 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 83 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Shows quick bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ends his swing with high finish. Was able to find lots of barrels through his rounds. Line drive approach. When throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 90 mph;has athletic footwork and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic, fields the ball to the side. Used an-over-the-top slot with long quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. He recorded a 60 time of 7.06 at the event. On the mound, showed quick arm speed with an over-the-top angle and a loose arm action. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses high effort. Has an athletic balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Changeup (73-75 mph) was most efficient when pitched in sequence with his fastball. His fastball sat 80-84 mph and topped out at 84 mph; shows around the zone command and some action. Has some command on his 12/6 curveball (65-69).

Fluid rhythm with level shoulders, lands square, and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 81-84 mph with slight arm side run and was thrown around the zone. Breaking ball showed 2/7 shape with near fastball arm speed at 63-64 mph. Change up showed slight arm side action with near fastball arm speed at 72-73 mph.
