9/7/13 - The 6-foot-2, 220-pound, physical prospect was the exit velocity champion of the day with 96 mph off the tee. He runs well for his size (7.19) and showed 76 mph arm across the infield with good actions around the bag and 78 mph from the outfield. Neeley generates big bat speed and showed the ability to make hard contact the other way with a double to right field in game play.
8/25/13 - 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect, strong/physical frame, moves well around the bag, athletic big guy, 78 mph arm across infield. At the plate, uses his strong lower half to generate big bat speed, shows ability to hit for power to all fields, went 1-for3 in game play with a single, showed his bat speed with 95 mph tee exit velocity.
6/11/13 - 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect with strong build, played outfield at this event but also plays first base, needs work attacking and playing through the ball better in the outfield, arm strength at 77 mph, made nice diving catch in game play. At the plate, hits from a balanced setup and wide base, smooth load, short stride, uses explosive lower half to create good bat speed through the zone, shows some stiffness, can benefit from relaxing hands, big power potential, raw strength in swing, ball jumps off his bat when squared up, potential to be a top power bat in the 2015 class, ran 7.22 60 yard dash, 84 mph tee exit velocity (up to 88 at previous event)
2/18/13 - 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect, strong-bodied frame, hands work ok, 73 mph arm strength across infield, 76 mph from outfield. At the plate, uses an athletic, balanced stance, with a heel lift and good hip transfer into the ball. He bars the arm and gets locked out early on some swings. Shows plus bat speed, has a quick powerful swing with a stiff front side and big follow through, explosive use of strong lower half, big power potential, registered 86 mph tee exit velocity, ran 7.51 60 yard dash.
