2/13/16 - 60 Time: 7.31, Position Velocity:  OF-81, Exit Velocity: 88
6-foot, 205-pound left-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, uses loose hands to generate good bat speed, aggressive approach, impressed in BP with several hard line drives to the middle of the field, Works through the ball with a two handed approach, clean exchange, long over the top release, slightly above average OF arm strength has room to improve as he uses his lower half better. Johnson has solid two-way potential at the next level.
Max FB: 83, FB: 81-83, CB: 68-71, CH: 78-79,
As a pitcher, works through a high-3/4 slot with minimal effort in delivery, showed ability to throw all pitches for strikes, fastball shows occasional arm-side run, showed feel for curveball especially from the stretch, curveball shows gradual 1/7 action, changeup is straight and could use slightly more velocity difference to be most effective. Johnson will be a solid lefty addition to a college pitching staff.
6/16/15 - 6-foot, 185-pounds, strong and athletic frame, works through a high-3/4 to over the top slot, minimal effort delivery, has room for more extension, fastball sat 80-81 mph touching 82 once, threw one curveball at 67 mph, allowed three hits, hit a batter, and struck out one in his inning of work. 6-foot, 185-pounds, left-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, good use of strong lower half, maintains good   balance through finish, line drive type hitter with good bat speed, 85 mph exit velocity off the tee, 4.60 down the line, good round of BP but went 0-for-4 in game play reaching base once on error. Defensively, plays through the ball on the ground, long high-3/4 release with 76 mph velocity, very accurate throws to the third base bag.
7/23/14 - 6-foot, 185-pound prospect ran a 7.06 60 yard dash and recorded 80 mph tee exit velocity.  Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, good balance, hands are loose and quick, creates some barrel whip through the zone, went 2-for-4 in game play showing the ability to hit to all fields.  Defensively, shows good athleticism at first base, 77 mph arm across the infield, 81 mph arm from the OF with online carry, solid prospect and versatile player.
On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, easy effort in delivery, works fast and attacks the strike zone, fastball sat 79-81 mph touching 83 once, showed a 67 mph curveball with gradual 1/7 action, good arm action on 74-77 mph changeup, LHP to keep an eye on in 2016 class.
