2022 Puma Classic: Tall, super slender lefty with arm speed and high spin heater. Upright delivery with high release point. Aggressive, worked quickly. FB 84-88 with spin rate consistently into the 2800s. Good angle to glove side. Spun 73-74 CB around zone. Pitch ability needs further development, but there's enough at present to reasonably project as starter at the next level.
Body: 6-foot-3, 160-pound long lengthy frame.
Pitching: Advanced smooth. Tall-and-fall delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, loose arm action.
FB: T85. 81-85 mph. (Max spin 2561; Avg 2347). Running action, hard movement.
CB: 67-69 mph. Tight action, 1/7 shape. (Max spin 2179; Avg 2143).
SL: 71-72 mph. Plus tight action, sharp movement. (Max spin 2503; Avg 2379).
2021 LHP Lucas Litteral worked up to 83 with his fastball and showed a sharp downer curveball at times when it was at its best at 67-71 mph. He’s intriguing given his lanky 6-foot-3, 160 pound frame and spin rates. The lefty possesses big upside, and it wouldn’t be a stretch at all to say a velocity increase is likely.
