8/4/17 - Curtis had a big showing at the PBR Future Games going 3-for-7 that included depositing a hanging slider deep over the left field wall for a home run. He threw out the only runner who attempted to steal on him and flashed his arm strength all weekend. He has vaulted into the No. 2 spot in the 2019 state rankings.
6/14/17 - 60 Time: 7.43, Pop Time: 1.85-1.93, Position Velocity: C-82, Exit Velocity: 92 6-foot-2, 185-pound RHH was a somewhat raw prospect a year ago and has refined himself into one of the top catchers in the state. hits with an open, slightly crouched Strides square. Nearm arm bar but generates the bat speed to get through the zone. Displays big power to the pull side. Defensively, shows premium arm strength w/ quick release. Consistently accurate throws. Moves well behind the plate. Soft glove hand with feel for framing.
8/2/16 - 60 Time: 7.71, Pop Time: 2.05-2.09, Position Velocity: C-77, Exit Velocity: 88 6-foot-0, 180-pound RHH starts square and strides slightly closed, gets close to arm bar which creates some length in swing, strong kid who generates bat speed, has some gap to gap power, went 0-for-3 in game play with a walk. Shows good arm strength behind the plate with strong and mostly accurate throws, feet and release have room to get quicker. Solid all-around young player is one to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
