12/15/13 - 6-foot-5, 213-pound prospect, average hands, showed improved arm across the infield at 77 mph.  At the plate, hits from a wide base with slight load and no stride, good balance throughout, showed improved lower half that generates good bat speed, consistently squared the ball up in his round with some pop, has some power potential, ran an improved 4.94 home to first base time (-.13 from previous event), 85 mph exit velocity off the tee (has been up to 90 previously). On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 78-80 touching 81 with some slight arm-side run, curveball has shown steady improvement at each event he has attended at 69-70 mph with sharp 11/5 action, good command of curveball, throws changeup with good arm action at 75-76 mph with some run and sink.

8/11/13 - 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect, shows some athleticism around the bag, accurate arm at 73 mph.  At the plate, hits from a wide base, no stride, high hands, squared up several pitches in batting practice with a gap to gap approach and occasional pull power, went 1-for-3 in game play with a sharp line drive single to center field, ran 5.07 down the line, flashed bat speed with 90 mph tee exit velocity (7 mph increase over previous event).  On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, struggled to command fastball mainly up in the zone, fastball sat 77-79 mph and touched 80, showed better command of his curveball which sat 69-73 mph with sharp 11/5 action, changeup shows some arm side run and sink at 73-74 mph.

6/26/13 - 6-foot-5, 221-pound prospect, fields ball deep, shows some athleticism around the bag, 75 mph arm across infield.  At the plate, hits from a wide setup, no stride, short path to the ball, squared some pitches up, shows some pull power, can incorporate more consistent lower half torque in swing, ran 7.83 60 yard dash, 83 mph tee exit velocity.  On the mound, shows good rhythm in delivery, on-line mechanics, uses long arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top arm slot, fastball sat 77-80 mph touching 81, struggled to command 68-73 mph curveball with 12/6 action which he tended to bury, changeup showed some run and sink at 74-76 mph thrown with near fastball arm speed, also throws knuckleball at 65-66 mph.
