6-foot-5, 190-pound, RHP brings a big presence to the mound with a large and rangy frame, seemingly good projectability on the mound, starts with a smooth and under control motion, long arm action is a little slow, arm comes through a high ¾ slot without too much effort, strides in line and lands with good balance. Fastball showed some occasional cut and his curveball had some gradual 11/5 action through the zone, didn’t throw a changeup in game play. Recorded a strikeout and allowed a hit.
6-foot-5, 190-pound, RHH hits from a very wide stance with some pretty high hand positioning, uses a small stride and a lowering and movement back with his hands to get loaded, lower half works okay and keeps him balanced, average bat speed is seen from a long and uphill bat path through the zone, could find the barrel a little more consistently. Defensively, showed pretty good hands and footwork, could have played through it smoother, longer arm action comes through a high ¾ slot, average arm strength with inconsistent accuracy. Recorded a double in game play.
6-foot-5, 185-pound RHP with large/projectable frame, arm action is long and works through a high-3/4 slot, throws strikes with all three pitches, fastball is straight, throws a slow curveball with gradual 11/5 action, changeup shows some sink and is thrown with fastball arm speed.
As a position player, hits from a balanced stance, uses a short stride as hands load back, arm bar creates some length in uphill swing path, flashes occasional power when lower and upper half are in sync. Showed decent lateral movement and average hands, uses a long high-3/4 release to get the ball across the infield with some accuracy, can improve body control and ability to throw on the move, arm strength needs improvement for the left side of the infield.
