2/16/19 – Holman is a long limbed and projectable 6-foot-3, 155-pound, left-handed hitting middle infield and right-handed pitching prospect in Kansas’ 2020 class. He ran a 7.07 60 and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, Holman’s long levers create leverage, quick bat, ball jumped on the barrel, showed hard contact to the middle and pull sides, high finish with hands, remains balanced throughout swing. On the infield, Holman shows fluid footwork, momentum towards first base, clean transfers, positional velo of 72 mph, accurate throws. On the mound, Holman has a simple compact delivery, higher leg kick, hides the ball, downhill tilt, some rhythm, over the top release, fastball is 74-75 mph, occasional sink, will mix in a 2 seam for run as well as a cutter, curveball shows gradual action, 12-to-6 shape, 64 mph, changeup is 70-71 mph.
