At the plate, exit velocity of 80 mph, starts in an upright posture, quiet load, in line stride, quick hands, aggressive back hip, uphill tilt to swing, primarily pop fly contact sprayed to all fields during batting practice. On the infield, attacks the baseball, clean transfers, moves well side-to-side, low three-quarter release, mostly accurate throws, 72 mph positional velo. On the mound, Baker has a projectable frame with room to grow as he develops, simple delivery, slight coil at leg lift, gains momentum as he works down the mound, some rhythm to delivery with regular effort, loose arm action, three-quarter release. Fastball is 73-75 mph, late run to arm side, thrown for strikes, curveball is 61-63 mph, 11-to-5 shape, quality pitch when located at the knees, changeup is 63-64 with arm side run.
