Renter is a 5-foot-9 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman in Kansas’ 2024 class. He ran a 4.58 home to first and had a 74 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, short in line stride, reverse toe tap before stride, short to contact, high one handed finish, middle to opposite field contact. Behind the plate, 61 mph positional velocity, thin set up, clean catch and throw, over the top arm slot.
