Hit: LHH. Even to slightly open stance with weight balanced. Hands start in line with shoulders, slight bat wrap with load. Low leg kick to minimal stride. Long, level swing plane. Swing works inside-out, drives balls middle/left center. 66.1 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 77.6 mph. 237' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. Quick arm action from a 3/4 window.
Defense: Active, athletic mover. Works around the ball with glove out front in middle of the body. Smooth gather to transfer. Double taps before release.
ATH: 1.67 and 3.93 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 28.60 max vertical.
INF Ben Graves (Lawrence Free State,2026) was another standout with from the event this past weekend. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete offers plenty of room to add on to a projectable frame. Graves showed a smooth left-handed swing that delivered barrels consistently through the middle of the field with natural lift. Defensively, the sophomore posted a 81 mph velocity across the infield paired with a 3.93 second 30.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Follow in the KS 2026 class.
Body: 5-9, 150-pounds. Younger, developing frame with present athleticism.
Delivery: Quick side-step delivery. Deliberate tempo, working from the 1B side of the mound. Gets to a high balance point before driving down the mound and landing inline with home. Strong front side at landing.
Arm Action: RH. Short high-3/4 arm action with solid arm speed.
FB: T80, 76-80 mph. Straight action with some ride through the zone. T2267, 2049 average rpm.
CB: 72-73 mph. Sharp 11/5 break. Tight spin with good depth. T2396, 2391 average rpm.
SL: 70-70 mph. 10/4 cut action with developing feel. T2344, 2344 average rpm.
