6/12/18: Hits from the right side closed off tall upright setup in box. Short stride to the baseball, was stiff in swing and rotational throughout. Displayed average bat speed with a level bat path through the zone. In the OF showed heavy footwork, arm action was stiff but throws showed some carry. Arm strength was average.

 
6/5/18:2019 OF thick build. Hits from right side, slightly crouched closed off stance in box. Bat speed was average and bat path was level with some lift times. In the OF footwork was average, arm is average with some stiffness.

2/17/18:  6-foot-1, 188 pound outfielder hits from an athletic crouch with good balance.  Level, compact swing.  Line drive approach.  Two-part load.  High exit velocity of 86mph.  Defensively, hands are average with fluid footwork.  Long arm swing, high 3/4 slot.  Throws were accurate with above average arm strength.  Ran a 7.63 60 yard dash.

6/13/17:  6-foot-1, 186 pound right-handed hitter has a level bat path with a quick barrel.  Partial use of lower half.  Line drive approach with some hard contact during his round of batting practice.  In the outfield, Hicks plays through the ball with a clean transfer and long arm action.  High 3/4 release with throws topping at 78mph.  He ran a 7.28 laser timed 60-yard dash.

9/18/16:  6-foot 186 pound outfielder showcased a wide, athletic setup with above average bat speed for his age.  Bat path is flat.  Good usage of lower half.  Defensively, arm action is loose with a positional velocity of 81mph.  Footwork is fluid with a long gather.  Has athleticism with room to fill in physically as he matures.
