Griffin Wolf: 1B/LHP, (2022) Carmel, IN. 6-foot, 180-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. Used a controlled stride stride. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.54. On the mound, curveball (60-62 mph). Threw his fastball 70-73 mph with a max of 74 mph; shows consistent control and running action with straight movement. Showed consistent control and sinking action on his changeup (67-68).
Medium height, strong body with good leg strength. Strong through shoulders. Appears to have good overall athletic actions. LH hitter, which has a shoulder width apart base with good balance. Hands start back loaded off back shoulder. Has short separation. Generates good bat speed with barrel to ball. LD hitter approach. Has a two-handed finish with barrel control and consistent hard contact. LD hitter now but see that power could come in future as he fully develops strength and swing path gets some more lift in path due to strength increase. Wolf displayed sure hands with glove at 1B. Had good range and his feet worked well around 1b. Produced a 7.20 60-yard dash. Arm strength for position was solid and had accurate throws. Has good body control and coordinated actions for position.

Setup included crouched stance and a leg kick. Ended his swing with good extension on his finish. Found some barrels in his round. Pu side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 75 mph; had Soft hands and a twitchy exchange. Had a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.05.

Starts in an even stance with his hands close to his body; uses a smooth, quiet load. He showed a level swing plane and high, two-handed finish. In the infield, he recorded a position velocity of 68 mph. He had a short quick arm action and used his body on his throws. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 73 mph. Moved through the ball on throws to second; used a short arm action at a low ¾ slot. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 8.18. On the mound, showed a short arm action and hid the ball during his delivery. Stayed on top of pitches well and showed depth on off-speed. Breaking ball pops out of his hand. His fastball was consistently 68-71 mph with a max of 71 mph. He showed the most control on his curveball (62-64 mph) when he stayed on top.
