2/23/2019: Blake Seslar, OF/RHP, Center Grove HS, 2021, 5 foot 11, 165 pounds, ran a 7.77, threw 85 mph from the OF, and recorded an exit velo of 85 mph. Starts slightly open from the left side, and uses simple load and stride to get to good launch position with good barrel position. Has good bat speed and gets on plane well to drive balls into the gaps. On the mound he works with a medium arm action out of a high ¾ slot. His FB sat 80-82 and was straight, Threw a CB and a SL, SL was the better pitch with 11/4 shape and sat 63-65. CH sat 65-69.
7/24/18: 2021 OF hits from the left side. Showed looseness in the hands and swing. Uses slightly open setup in the box. Rhythm was good in swing and everything looked to be on time. Showed good gap to gap potential. Posted an exit velo of 82. In the OF played through the baseball and arm strength was 83
6/5/18: 2021 OF/RHP, hits from left side crouch setup hand wrap trigger. Stride is short to the baseball with above average bat speed for age. Bat path is short and level through the zone. Showed some pop in the bat. In the OF showed choppy footwork, long arm action throws showed some carry but were mostly average. On the mound showed good upside, pitches from OT arm slot. Delivery is clean and repeatable. Showed a quick clean arm stroke, works downhill. FB sat 80-82 with more in the tank. Flashed sweep action CB at 60-63 that showed potential.
