The left-handed hitter works with some rhythm during pre-pitch, transitioning into a slightly uphill path through the zone, hands work notably quick to the ball with bat-speed. Patient approach while covering the zone; working deep into counts and spoiling pitches to work up the pitch-count, also letting the ball travel deep into the zone and driving the ball the other way multiple times throughout the day. On the infield, unteachable instincts with the ball, cutting down lead runners with no hesitation. He also showed a similar aggressiveness on the basepaths, always looking to take the extra base.
