5/23/13 - Rose-Hulman commit. Defensively shows above average arm strength, arm stays on line, carries well, 2.00-2.05 pop time, quick release, short over the top arm action. Offensively shows an athletic swing at the plate, high level of barrel awareness, gap to gap approach with some opposite field tendencies. 3-for-3 with an RBI and a walk.

6/14/12 Trusk is a 5-foot-9, 180-pound multi-positional player who impressed with his defensive abilities behind the plate. Trusk showed quick, clean footwork behind the plate. He stays low throughout, and has a quick transfer, resulting in a top pop time of 1.98. He displayed accurate throws to the bag that were clocked at 75 mph from behind the dish. Offensively, Trusk hits from a wide, crouched stance. He has an economical approach to the baseball with a level, line drive swing with good whip through the zone.
2/19/12 Trusk was one of the event’s biggest surprises, as he impressed with his ability to play multiple positions well.  Behind the dish, Trusk exhibited soft hands and the ability to handle all types of pitching with ease.  He posted a best pop time of 2.00 and was clocked at 75 mph from the crouch.  Trusk continued to impress at third base with soft hands and good lateral range, being clocked at 78 mph from across the diamond.  At the plate, Trusk had a balanced setup and a compact swing, maintaining excellent balance throughout.  Trusk has a strong lower half and an easy swing in which he sprayed line drives to all fields.
The catcher showed an accurate arm and threw an impressive pop time of 2.06. The 5-foot-6, 160-pound catcher also was a good receiver and blocker behind the dish. At the plate he displayed a level, line drive swing.
