In the outfield, he takes aggressive routes to the baseball and showed a solid, accurate arm, as he was clocked at 84 mph. At shortstop, Vandenbroek again showed arm strength (82 mph).  Vandenbroek, who ran a 7.13 60, took his same aggressive approach to the plate. He certainly doesn’t get cheated in the box, as he swings with force, using his strong lower half to generate torque and pop.

VandenBroek took an aggressive approach as he played through the ball and moved well in the outfield. His foot speed and athleticism were also on display when he ran a 7.08 60. At the plate, Vandenbroek exhibited some power potential and bat speed. He showcased an explosive lower half while his barrel whipped through the zone.

The physically strong 5-foot-10, 183-pound athlete is a high-energy, aggressive prospect who impressed with his outfield abilities. He gets behind the ball well and showed good carry on his throws (81 mph). At the plate, Vandenbroek certainly doesn't get cheated, as he attacks the ball with ferocity. He showed power potential and bat speed at the plate. On the mound, Troy topped at 79 with his fastball coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. His breaking ball showed some bite with 12/6 break.
