Impressed at the plate with a simple left-handed swing that stays through the zone and through impact, working a double to the opposite-field gap in-game. Also showed above-average speed with a 4.72 on a turn. Hit out of the two-hole and finished the day 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and a run scored.
Uncommitted. Mennecke went 8-for-12 (.667 BA/.647 OBP/1.038 SLG) with a home run, triple, seven RBIs, four runs scored, one strikeout, and two walks on the week.
