Colletta is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder has an advanced, fundamental approach. Offensively, Colletta has a quiet approach. He is quick to the baseball, using an aggressive lower half and a level bat path to create leverage. Colletta has excellent balance and rhythm throughout his swing, and gets extension after contact. Defensively, he showed fundamental footwork and clean defensive actions. He showed solid carry on his throws across the diamond which were clocked at 79 mph.

Colletta is a 6-foot, 170-pound shortstop who impressed with his easy left-handed swing and defensive prowess. Colletta has a balanced setup with a smooth load and an economical approach to his swing.  He has an explosive lower half and maintains excellent balance throughout.  Defensively, Colletta is a slick-fielding shortstop with soft hands and excellent lateral movement.  He was one of the best infielders at the event with his combination of footwork, clean exchange and arm strength (83 mph) across the diamond.

The left-hand hitting shortstop had one of the best overall swings at the event, and also showed as one of the top infielders. The 6-foot, 142-pound Colletta showed advanced defensive actions, fielding the ball with rhythm and fluidity, and displayed an impressive arm across the infield (80). Colletta continued to show well at the plate, spraying line drives to all fields with a quick bat. Colletta showed a balanced swing with an active lower half; he should develop more power over time as he physically develops. On the mound, Kyle showed good rhythm and presence, topping at 77 to go along with a curveball with good depth and some bite.

A pure left-handed hitting shortstop. Colletta was the best all-around hitter at the event. He showed strong, quick hands and an ability to handle the bat and hit to all fields. His short, compact swing produced line drives and no doubt will be an excellent hitter for years to come. In the field, he showcased soft hands and an accurate arm. He has natural shortstop instincts with sound fielding mechanics and takes impressive angles to the ball.

Colletta was the most versatile prospect at the event. The 5-foot-11 left-handed hitting freshman demonstrated top-level hands and feet in the field, and showed an advanced aptitude to play shortstop, catcher and pitcher. At the plate, Colletta has a gap-to-gap approach. He possesses a quick and compact swing with impressive bat speed and extension from the left side.
