1B Justin Garcia-Hernandez (St. Patrick) swung one of the heaviest barrels we have seen in some time in his workout, reaching up to an eye-opening 110 mph for his max exit velocity. Standing in at 6-foot-4, 241-pounds, Garcia-Hernandez has plenty of strength throughout his frame with broad shoulders. The right-handed hitter carried his impressive power into game play, sending a ball out to right field for a home run, despite getting jammed on the pitch. His hand and bat-speed are both off the charts, averaging 26 mph for his hands and 81.4 mph with the bat.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 199 in the state. Stands in at a physical and mature 6-foot-3, 243-pounds. Batted out of the leadoff spot and played left field for the Shamrocks. Led the game off with a first-pitch single through the left side showing the barrel strength we’ve seen out of him in the past. Later in the game he sent a deep drive to left field for a long out but continued to show the ability to be on the barrel from the right side.
