Balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, some explosiveness in lower half, balanced through swing. Fluid rhythm in the box, advanced approach, level bat path with extension, gap to gap type of hitter, could see some power potential in the near future. In game action against Rhino (IL), Gudeman went a strong 3-3 with two base hits, and a double. All of which came off the bat different from everyone else. Also earned three RBI’s on the day as well.

Aggressive swing with hard contact, 99 mph exit velocity from the tee. Strong arm out of the crouch, carries with accuracy to target, short quick stroke, 77 mph. Hands play well, clean exchange, 1.95-2.01 pop times. 7.48 runner in the 60.
4.26.18 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound, catcher with a strong, durable lower half. Advanced defensive catcher for his age. Flexible behind the plate, soft hands, present pitches well; sets up open occasionally. Easy, clean and athletic out of the crouch, directional footwork. Arm is loose and quick, high ¾ slot; throws flashed easy carry, slight arm-side-run, accurate and pop times ranged between 2.10-2.18 in between innings. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, two-piece early load and simple overall approach. Uses the middle of the field, handsy at times and found the barrel in both of his at-bats. Singled up the middle in his first at-bat and grounded out sharply to the second baseman in his second at-bat. High-follow 2020 catcher.
