The Lakers top pitching prospect, Cihocki is a true freshman up to 89 mph with mid-2300s RPM. Clean, compact arm action on an athletic 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame. Good shape to his 76-77 mph curve and very good feel for a fading changeup at 81-82 with spin in the 1600s. Projectable arm/body type with high likelihood of adding velocity in the near future.

RHP Danny Cihocki (Princeton, 2023) gave an intriguing look on the mound with a jumping fastball up to 86 mph from a deceptive high ¾ window. He also went to two different breaking balls; a slider at 72-75 mph and a curveball at 72-73 mph. To finish off his arsenal, Cihocki went to a changeup at 76-78 mph. Cihocki struck out three in his three innings of work.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-2, 180-pounds. Broad-shouldered, athletic frame.
Delivery: Controlled tempo, medium leg-lift into balance point, slight drop/drive lower-half that remains in-line to the plate, repeats delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm circle into a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T85.8, 83-85 mph. Mostly straight with some finish through the zone. T2280, 2032 average rpm.
CB: 72-73 mph. Downer action off an 11/5 plane. T2056, 1882 average rpm.
SL: 72-75 mph. Short 10/4 shape with late depth. T1969, 1868 average rpm.
CH: 76-78 mph. Mostly straight, thrown with fastball intent. T1711, 1680 average rpm.
