Northern Illinois commit. Currently ranked No. 81 in the state’s 2020 rankings. 6-foot-2, 205-pound physical and muscular build. Batted third and started at first base for the Indians against PTA. Sets up in a tall stance in the right side of the box. Uses a leg kick trigger, pulls hands back into load. Showed off his present bat strength and pull side juice, hitting a no-doubt home run that traveled well over the left field fence on Giants. Finished the game 1-for-3 with the home run and RBI.
8/9/18 - 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder, strong physical build. Right-handed hitter with pop, hits out of tall setup, leg kick trigger, slight arm bar load. Present bat strength creates hard backspin contact, pull side tendency with advanced pop for age. Showed in game play with a deep triple to centerfield. 98 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively profiles at a corner, long exchange shuffle through the baseball, occasional crow hop. 7.16 runner in the 60. Arm is short and loose, high ¾ slot, 77 mph arm from the outfield.

Offensively, balanced setup, bar load, leg kick timing-trigger, maintains good balance through contact. Power approach, pull tendency, long, uphill barrel path, gains extension, fluid rhythm, 94 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, short arm action, ¾ slot, kept throws around target, 82 mph from the outfield. Plays through the ball, moves well for size, fluid footwork. Ran a 7.08 laser-timed 60.
5.11.18 - 6-foot-2, 195-pound, physical third baseman, wide shoulders, strong lower half, carries himself well, projectable power bat. Offensively, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, small bar load, leg kick timing-trigger. Long barrel path, strength through contact, gap-to-gap type hitter during BP, present pull-side power. Showed feel for the zone. Runs athletically on the basepaths. Defensively, short arm action, high ¾ slot, clean arm action, fluid actions, clean footwork for size, arm plays from third base.
