RHP Connar Temple (Batavia, 2025) had one of the higher movement profiles on an individual pitch of the entire event. His slider, at 76-77 mph, had the most horizontal movement at peak (-20.2”) and on average (-18.6”) than any other such pitch in attendance. Temple also threw his fastball at 88-89, T89.5 mph, and showed a firm changeup at 83-84 mph.
RHP Connar Temple (Batavia, 2025) is a 6-foot-1, 160-pound right-hander who certainly turned some heads during his outing at the State Games. On the mound, Temple is a simple mover with a loose, easy arm that looks capable of adding more velocity as he continues to add more strength to his upside frame. Temple ran his fastball up to 86.1 mph, while sitting in the 83-85 mph range throughout and also played with heavy sinking action at times. As for his offspeeds, he featured a slider with tight horizontal action, while flashing sweep at times and was spun at 2,376 RPM on average, too. He rounded out his three-pitch mix with a changeup in the 79-81 mph range that he killed spin on and featured fade with occasional depth.

Body: 6-1, 160-pounds.
Delivery: Stretch-only, high, tucked leg lift, tall/fall delivery, simple, repeatable, finishes out front. Struck out three in two innings of work; scattered two hits, no walks and one run.
Arm Action: RH. Full arm circle, loose, 3/4 slot.
FB: T86, 83-85 mph. Heavy sinking action at times. T2347, 2210 average rpm.
SL: 75-77 mph. Tight horizontal movement, flashed sweeping action, lands for strikes, drops slot slightly. T2455, 2376 average rpm.
CH: 79-81 mph. Thrown at arm speed, depth with some fade. T1578, 1530 average rpm.

His arm plays long and loose out of the glove, moving into a ¾ release. His fastball sat 82-84 mph throughout his ‘pen with slight arm-side run, reaching up to 15.8 inches of horizontal movement. He showed some feel for a slider, landing it for strikes and to his glove-side consistently, 70-72 mph with slurvy action. His final offering was a fading changeup at 75-80 mph, averaging over 14 inches of horizontal movement and reaching over 15 inches, kept mostly down and thrown with arm-speed.

SL: 71-72 mph. Arm slot drops slightly, sharp sweeping action. T2133, 2052 average rpm.
CH: 76-79 mph. Maintains arm speed, late arm-side movement and depth. T1638, 1424 average rpm.
