Uphill bat path through the hitting zone, pull approach and 80 mph exit velocity. In the outfield, arm works short and loose from a high ¾ slot; topped out at 78 mph. 7.40 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, stays on-line, repeats with easy effort throughout. Fastball, thrown for strikes, works straight, 78-80 mph. Curveball, short break, 12/6 shape, thrown for strikes, 69-73 mph. Changeup, near fastball arm speed, feel, 72-75 mph.

1/28/17 - 5-foot-11, 200-pound right-handed hitting OF/RHP with a strong frame. At the plate hits from an open stance with a leg kick stride and average balance. Pull, power hitter with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.44 runner down the line. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Plays thru the ball with slower actions. Throws showed carry throwing 83 mph from the outfield. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall and fall, slow paced delivery working in line with home plate. Regular effort with a square landing. Fastball worked mostly up in the zone at 78-79 topping out at 80 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape at 67-60 mph. Changeup sat 71-73 mph.
