Summers caught our eye on both sides of the ball Saturday evening. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound MIF found barrels all game for Game Seven Legacy. From the right side of the plate, Summers possesses a balanced setup with a hitterish look in the box. The hands are quick and allow for barrel control through the zone. Defensively at shortstop, he showed to be smooth and rangy, also showing off a strong arm. Went 2-for-2 with a home run, walk, and two RBIs out of the leadoff spot.

MIF Bennett Summers (Bloomington Central Catholic, 2024) got it going in the morning contest on day two of the event, going 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, a stolen base and an RBI. He also showcased above-average infield instincts by making a sliding play up the middle and finishing with a strong throw. Also a 6.74 60-time during the showcase. Finished the event 3-for-6 with a double, two stolen bases, two runs, an RBI and a walk.
