Arizona State commit. Currently ranked No. 7 in the IL 2019 class. 6-foot-5, 195-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, advanced and athletic frame, oozes upside and projectibility; wears the jersey well. Hit third and played centerfield against Stagg, produced three QABs and finished 2-for-4 with a 3B, three RBI, one run scored and two stolen bases; long and easy strides around the bases. Athletic setup with slight crouch at the plate, short and simple load and stride. Path is direct to the baseball with present bat speed, loose and rhythmic hands with a feel for the barrel in the strike zone. Fouled off numerous pitches working deep counts to get his fastball and delivered. Two of his batted balls were to his pull side showing some favoritism that way as we’ve seen in years past. In his final at bat, drove a triple over the centerfielders head who was drifting to right showing the ability to lift the ball to his opposite field. Showed impressive foot speed turning on the burners as he rounded second base for the triple. Saw no action on defense, however the arm/field combination is something that will easily play at a high level in college.

9.16.18 - Arizona State commit, currently ranked No. 6 in the Illinois’ 2019 rankings and No. 144 overall. 6-foot-4, 180-pound, long, lean, athletic, projectable, right-handed hitting outfielder. Offensively, loose levers, simple swing, creates easy bat speed. Ball jumps off the barrel, pull approach and has pull-side power. Doubled to left field and hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence in the Championship game. Also, plus runner on the bases and in the outfield; long, easy strides. Ran a 3.90 on a bunt single.

7.10.18 - Arizona State commit. 6-foot-4, 175-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder, highly projectable frame, long and lean, loose live body. Balanced setup at the plate, slightly crouched, in rhythm and on time, maintains balance. Loose levers generate easy bat speed, path is slightly uphill, line drive gap to gap contact. Exit velocity topped 97 mph from a tee. Present foot speed, 6.77 runner in the 60. Defensively has gliding actions in the outfield, also plays first base, hands play well around the bag and looks natural. Arm played at 80 mph from the outfield.

4.23.18 - Arizona State commit. 6-foot-4, 180-pounds lean lanky projectable athlete, long levers lean sneaky strength, comps to Brenden Spillane (Wheeling, 2015) at that age. Similar in the box as well, quiet confidence, unassuming at times. Hits leadoff, plays first base. Right-handed hitter, athletic setup, on time and ready to hit, hands are loose, creates well above average bat speed, long levers generates easy pop. Contact worked all fields, jumps off the bat. Went 3-for-4, HR-CF, 2B-LF, 1B-CF, K-SL. Easy athlete is a gliding runner underway, ran a 3.93 on a foul drag attempt, plus baserunner, gets good jumps and reads, long easy strider, two stolen bases. Natural actions around the bag at first, hands play, run tool and actions suggest potential above average outfield defender. 2019 draft follow.

7.17.16 - Long and lean, projectable outfielder. Offensively, right-handed hitter, hits in the three hole. Calm approach, easy effort in swing with looseness. Hit a double to right-center field in his third at-bat. Long, easy strides on the bases. High follow 2019 outfielder.
