Butler commit, currently ranked No. 176 in Illinois. Towering 6-foot-5, 210-pound frame, strong with long limbs. Hopped on the mound for an inning of work against Marian Catholic and impressed with a strong arm. The tall right-hander works with a drop/drive lower-half down the mound, struggling to repeat at-times but remaining in-line, then transitioning into an over the top slot which created a tough downward angle for hitters. His fastball sat 83-86 mph, cutting at-times to the glove-side. He showed two separate off-speed offerings in his inning of work; the first being a sharp 11/5 curveball, thrown with intent at 70-73 mph and flashing plus action at times. The second offering was a changeup at 77-80 mph, mostly straight but kept down for the most part.

Body: 6-4, 185-pounds. Lanky, long-levered frame; projects.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, quick bat tip at load, toe-tap timing trigger. Short bat path, pull-side approach.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Active feet, attacks the baseball, two-hand gather out front.
