Illinois State commit. Currently ranked No. 40 in the Illinois’ 2025 class. 5-foot-9, 160-pound, athletic left-handed pitcher. Came out of the bullpen and worked with presence and competitiveness on the mound. Uptempo, drop and drive delivery, athletic mover down the mound and loose, quick arm action from an over-the-top slot. Fastball plays with carry and ride through the zone, works at the top of the zone efficiently, flashed late life and jump, sat 83-84 mph, T85. Only showed a few changeups that played with average feel and above-average horizontal movement. Went three innings, scattered two hits, one run, no walks and struck out three. Quality look at the sophomore arm with more velocity to come.
LHP/OF Aaron Scott (Lincoln-Way East, 2025) came away a winner from the event. The southpaw cruised with his fastball in the 79-81 mph range, reaching up to 18.7 IVB. His curveball played off a 1/7 plane and was thrown with fastball intent, 63-66 mph. Changeup sat 70-74 mph and played with slight fading action to the arm-side. Offensively, the right-handed hitter kept his bat on-plane and was on the barrel consistently with hard gap-to-gap contact throughout his round. Follow 2025 prospect.

Hit: RHH. Tall, narrow setup. Long path, minimal load. Compact swing, short to the baseball, highly repeatable, consistently on the barrel, gap-to-gap approach.

Arm: LH. OF - 82 mph. Clean arm circle, 3/4 slot with length out front. Some carry through the target.
Defense: Plays through the baseball.
Run: 7.20 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Compact delivery. High front side, squared landing , rotational finish.
Arm Action: LH. Short, loose arm action. High 3/4 slot.
FB: T79.9, 77.6-79.7 mph. Slight arm side run. T1836, 1765 average rpm.
CB: 62.2-64.5 mph. 1/7 shape. Slurve action. T1929, 1849 average rpm.

Scott has a contact-oriented swing that connected at a high rate, staying compact and short to the baseball, living on the barrel and working gap-to-gap.

Defense: Quick feet, covers ground in rhythm. Soft hands at gather, clean exchange, plays through the baseball. Smooth outfield actions, advanced defender for age.
Arm: LH. OF - 76 mph. Short and loose arm action, high 3/4 slot. Accurate throws with some carry to target.
Hit: RHH. Slightly crouched balanced setup, minimal load, short stride, athletic posture through contact. Simple swing, loose hands/wrists. Short path to contact, stays on top of the baseball. Natural feel to backspin, line drive approach. Fluid throughout.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.42 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Simple delivery, twitchy athleticism downhill, controls body and repeats well. Front side stays strong throughout, lands square to target, throws with some effort.
Arm Action: LH. Long and loose arm action works from an over-the-top slot.
FB: T75, 74-75 mph. Late arm-side life, strikes. Comes out clean.
CB: 59-63 mph. Showed tight spin off a 1/7 plane; bullet like. Throws it with fastball intent, whippy wrist.
