Fastball has run, 82-84 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape with depth, early action, 65-68 mph. Change up is erratic, flash arm side action, 75-76 mph, thrown with aggressive arm action. Offensively hits from a tall stance, balanced throughout. 75 mph exit velocity from the tee.
10/21/12 - Diepholz is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound right handed pitcher. Diepholz works out of a short high ¾ arm action showing a fastball at 79-80 mph. His curveball proved to be his best pitch, showing the ability to throw it for strikes at 66-67 mph with feel. His change up showed slight arm side run at 75-76 mph.
6/12/12 Diepholz is an athletic 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed pitcher with a quick and free arm action from a high ¾ slot. He showed command of his fastball that topped at 79 mph and a curveball at 67 mph. His changeup was in the 70-73 mph range. With his athletic frame and arm looseness, expect Diepholz to see a velocity strike in the coming years.
