On Tuesday, June 12th the Prep Baseball Report hosted its Open ID Prospect Showcase for the Class of 2013 and 2014.  The talent continues to impress the staff as each year we discover new athletes from all over the state. 

The event was highlighted by Jake Latz, Class of 2014, who is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound LHP from Lemont High School.  Latz had the highest velocity at the event, as he touched 87 multiple times and showed a great breaking ball that had tight spin and good two plane action.
