Another great look at Hall, who continues to have a breakout spring and this being our first time to see him on the mound. With a lean 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, Hall shows great body control and efficient actions in his delivery with ability to repeat well. Longer, loose arm action from a high three-quarters slot with present arm speed. Ran the fastball up to 91 in the rain-shortened outing, while living 88-90 with good feel to spin (2400 RPM) and great arm-side life. Slider shows signs to be a put-away pitch for Hall at 81-83 with sharp two-plane bite and feel to spin. Sprinkled in a few changeup in the low-80s with some fade for a solid third pitch. The uncommitted junior flashes above-average command of all three pitches and the stuff appears to be developing quickly to make Hall a very high follow over the next 12 months.

2/27/24

The reigning Region 7-7A offensive player of the year on the gridiron has real tools on the diamond as well. With an athletic 6-foot-1,180-pound frame, Hall shows above-average bat speed and present feel for the barrel that showed up well in-game with a pair of loud doubles. The uncommitted junior does a good job on matching plane in a line-drive approach. Good actions at first base as well with flexibility and soft hands.

3/11/23

Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 160 pounds. We had a good look on him this summer and are keeping close tabs on him there, but Hall is one of the better hitters on the team as a sophomore. The 3 hole hitter had competitive AB’s vs Lambert and seems to have some IT factor to him. This will be a close follow going forward.
