6-foot-6, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, lanky, lean frame, lots of room to fill out. Arm works long to a high ¾ slot, average arm speed, repeats slot. Uses his height to his advantage with a tall and fall delivery, works on-line, gets extension, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 81-82, touched 83, gets good tili on pitch, more in the tank. SL, 75-76, good feel for pitch, 11/5 shape.
6-foot-5 170-pounds. Tall, lanky imposing figure on the mound. Still growing into his body, and learning how to control his frame. The ball comes out well from a high ¾ arm slot. FB was 80-82, and showed more velo to come. What impressed the most was the CB. He threw it with the same arm speed as the FB, and it had a really good break to it. Look the same out of his hand, and surprised hitters with it. The pitchability is there. Definitely a 2022 arm to keep an eye on for the future.
