4/17/23
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2 155-pounds. The frame stood out right away from Hester. Athletic build and he is still filling out. Had one of the more impressive nights at the plate, but only 1 hit to show for. He squared up a FB in the bottom of the 7th that nearly look the pitcher out, but he managed to throw his glove up and snag it. I love the approach at the plate. He stands tall, and gets in a good power position in the load. He was the only one able to square up the inside pitch off of Rice. The ball he pulled for a double was down in the zone, and he did a really good job of staying though the ball. Hester is also QB, so we know the athleticism is there. He wil be a high follow into the summer, and next spring
