Cape Cod- Showed a plus arm from behind the dish with quick release and solid accuracy. He struggled at the plate, especially against offspeed and 90-plus velocity.

5/14/18 - Possesses physicality throughout his 6-foot, 200-pound frame. Impressive defensive abilities include a soft glovehand when receiving and presenting borderline pitches well to the umpire. A quick transfer and plus arm strength with carry, along with straight-line, accurate throws, led to between inning pop times of 1.89-2.02. The right-handed hitter displayed good balance at the dish, consistently barreling the baseball throughout the game. Stayed through a change-up fading away from him for a single his first at-bat before a hard groundout to second base and a smoked lineout to left field in his subsequent trips to the plate.

3/10/18 - Jonathon French is a strong presence at the plate with power and a straight away approach.  He also handles the catching duty and shows a compact accurate arm stroke. He put those skills on display in this game by cutting down the speedy CJ Abrams (2019 Alabama Commit) at 3B in the bottom of the 4th in a clutch spot.
