3/9/19: Five-foot-11, 175-pounds, lean, muscular frame. Super quick twitch athlete and left-handed hitter. Hits from a tall stance using a leg kick to get started and triggers his hands late. Quick hands with high end barrel awareness and strength in his hands. Went 2-for-4 at the plate with a single up the middle, a single in the four hole, flied out on the barrel to left field, and struck out in his last at bat. Speed played at a high level as he swiped three bags, taking third twice. Gets to full speed quickly and can change directions quickly. Played right field, made a nice play to cut a ball off in the gap, and threw across his body on the run (Jeter Play) to hit the cutoff man in the chest. Likely top of the order hitter at the next level with the ability to play all three outfield positions. (Bicknell)

9/1/18Slender, athletic build at five-foot-eleven, 175 pounds, Holt is sophomore eligible by age for the 2019 draft. A left-handed hitter, he offers plus-plus speed, uses a contact approach at the plate and is a threat to run every time he reaches base; stole 29 bases in 30 attempts for Tech last spring. A below average defender at this point, he has yet to settle into a true position for the Red Raiders after moving between second base and right field as a true freshman last spring. With a near average arm, expect Holt to find a permanent home at either center field or second base this spring after graduation and draft losses have left the Red Raiders with openings to fill at both positions. Slashed .348/.440/.485 with more walks (38) than strikeouts (35) in the offensive atmosphere of Rip Griffin Park and .315/.383/.333 in a 14 game appearance in this summer in the Cape before going home due to a minor injury.
