6-foot-2, 195-pounds right-handed hitting first baseman and right-handed pitcher, projectable frame, broad shoulders, emerging strength throughout, will only continue to add to frame. Offensively, tall, slightly open setup, short stride coupled with a short hand load back, good balance throughout. Takes aggressive cuts at the plate, hunts middle/in, looks to turn on the ball and drive it with force, fluid rhythm, profiles a power hitter with pull-side tendency, 93 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, long arm action, throws with effort from a high ¾ slot, 82 across the infield. Has feel around the bag at first, soft hands, uses his back-hand with confidence, fluid actions. Ran a 7.25 laser-timed 60. On the mound, long arm action, reaches on the back-side, continuous movement to a high ¾ slot. Tall and fall delivery, stays high on his back-side utilizing his height well, short stride down the mound, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 80-82, mostly straight. Curveball, 12/6 shape, gradual break on majority, was able to snap a few off that showed signs of sharp break. Forkball, 70-72, erratic movement, depending on the pitch it featured run, sink or fade.

6-foot-2 195-pounds. Tall, athletic frame righty has had a great showing this fall. He has a smooth, simple stride at the plate that makes consistent contact. He transfers his weight well and it allows him to hit balls with power. Hits the inside pitch really well, and showed discipline to hit the ball the other way. Can play 1B or OF, gets the job done at both positions. A player to keep an eye on this high school season.

Lewis is a 2022 two-way prospect that is starting to make strides on the mound. Lewis has very broad shoulders, and is going to be a big kid when it is all said and done. He creates good leverage from his tall and fall delivery. His fastball shows good angle out of his high 3/4 slot at times, and really locates well glove side. His curve-ball has improved since the last time we saw him and as he continues to add strength, look for even more bite to develop with the pitch. Lewis' projectable frame will hold more weight and no doubt strength will be a large part of his game in the future. As a position player he has the look of a kid that can develop power and will fit nicely in his corner profile. Lewis did not match his exit velocity of 86 in this event, but registered a respectable 82 mph exit velo. With leverage already present in everything he does, strength gains will prove to be very valuable over the coming year. Lewis needs to work on his flexibility to counter getting stiff as he puts on the pounds and grows into his large frame.
6/18/2018- North Georgia Trials
Young two-way prospect with good size at 6-foot, 185-pounds. Lewis stands tall at the plate and shows a pull approach with good pull side power. Logged an 86 mph exit velocity with more in the tank as he learns to better incorporate his lower half. On the mound Lewis also stands tall and better incorporation of his lower half would compliment his quality arm speed. He has a solid present fastball for his age at 78-79 and, as he adds strength to his frame, velocity will climb. His curveball has solid shape and 11-4 action. As he learns to finish it, could turn into an out-pitch. As with most young arms, the change-up is his distant third pitch. Right now he slows his arm significantly and lacks true commitment to the pitch. Overall, he is a promising young arm with good ingredients to develop on the mound.
