1/17/19 - A stocky, 6-foot-1, 185 pounds. He lands slightly closed, creating some crossfire action. The arm action is compact and clean from a high 3/4 slot. Simple, repeatable mechanics. Showed feel for all of his pitches, located 80-83 mph fastball down to both sides of the plate. The curveball and splitter were his two best offspeed pitches. The curveball had tight spin with depth at 69-71 mph and showed command of a splitter that tumbled at 70-71 mph. Not overpowering, but showed feel with two quality offspeed offerings that if he locates and mixes all three could be tough to face.

07/28/18- Uncommitted, standing at 6-foot, 180 pounds. He has a stocky frame with strength in the lower half. Uses the strong lower half well, driving down the mound to extension. There is some rotational action that gets him offline at times and could improve the pace, but the fastball has some life in the zone and worked 78-82 mph. Showed a short slurve that ranged from 71-73 mph with potential. Would strike out one in his two innings of work.
