The athleticism plays, he maintains quality receiving positions with a clean and quick transfer and showed consistently accurate throws at 2.01-2.07. Offensively, The strength also translates. Starting slightly open, he works closed in his load and stays balanced and simple. Creates above average bat speed, an exit velocity of 91 mph, and power potential. Had a triple in the game and overall will be a solid addition as an above average defender with power potential.

08/22/18- Stocky, 5-foot-10, 190 pound catcher. Defensively, he has present athleticism and moves well behind the plate. The strength doesn’t affect his flexibility and has lateral mobility behind the plate. The hands work well, but could get to receiving positions a bit earlier to effectively use his strength. He has a quick transfer and pop times from 2.07-2.11. Offensively, he works with a leg kick trigger. He has a strong lower half and core which he uses to stay balanced throughout the swing. There is present strength and clears his backside well. Had an exit velocity of 86 mph and could see continuing to add power in the future.
06/28/17- The stocky, right-handed hitting catcher hits from an upright stance with a medium leg kick trigger. Showed the ability to make adjustment from round to round. The path was steep at times, but when he was level and short through the zone, he drove balls gap-to-gap. Defensively, he showcased pop times ranging from 2.3-2.4. The feet work well , but could see improvements with an improved transfers.
