7/12/16- North Florida recruit. 5-foot-9 165 pounds, has a strong lower half with flexibility. Above average catcher who was consistently in the 1.95-2.0 range. Aggressive behind the plate, attempting multiple back-picks, getting one runner at third base. At the plate, he has good rhythm and when he is on time has gap-to-gap power. Can get long at times, but the defensive skills make him an above average catcher for the class.

12/24/15- Committed to University of North Florida.

8/5/15 - Stocky strong body on medium sized frame. Short arm with carry. Throws were mostly around the bag. Average type release with average hands. 2.06 pop time with a catchers velocity of 76 mph. Good approach with the bat with a short quick line drive stroke. Good load and separation. Has some pull power with more to come.

Incoming junior who stands at 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with a strong, compact, and athletic frame. At the plate he has good rhythm, gets a good separation, and his bat gets into a strong angle. Good weight transfer, uses his lower half well, nice swing plane, and consistently squares the ball up. In the field he has soft hands, enough range for 2B or 3B, and plenty arm for 3B. Behind the plate he has a quick transfer, good feet, and a short, over the top arm action with an ML average arm down to second. He threw 81 mph across the diamond, 76 mph down to 2B, and produced a 77 mph exit velocity. Joe will definitely be able to play at the next level.
