02/22/17 - With an RBI double, Vilar starts off hot and has continued to consistently find the barrell. He has gap-to-gap power and a feel for the barrel against high-end arms. Very intriguing prospect to follow for 2018.

10/23/16- Miami recruit. Athletic build standing at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with some liveness in his step. Shows smooth actions in the field with some range, quick release. Fields the ball out in front. Quiet and balanced in the box with a slightly open stance. Quick bat with a feel for the barrel. Ripped a single down the right field line that had a 91 mph exit velocity. Shows good awareness on the base paths. Continues to improve his overall game.

8/8/2016- Committed to the University of Miami.

7/14/15: 5-foot-10 165 pounds with a lean and athletic body. Has a short, loose, high ¾ arm slot from SS. Smooth and loose actions all over the field. Gets a small separation and small hand trigger for his load. Quiet, relaxed, and patient at the plate. Above average arm for his age.

2/12/15 - 5-foot-9, 165 pound infielder who is an impressive defender that holds down the middle of the field as a freshman on a good high school team.  Soft, quick hands with an avg, accurate arm and defensive flash with a lot of confidence.  Bat has a ways to go, but he has plenty of time to develop that part of his game. Added strength will improve his all around game.
