Westminster out slugs Trinity 10-8

Jacksonville, FL- Despite their best efforts, Trinity Christian could not overcome three big innings in which Westminster put up 10 runs, winning 10-8.
Westminster's offense would be aided by some command issues and errors from Trinity Chrisitan. Luis Aviles (Rice) would come up with a big RBI single and MJ Melendez (FIU) would go 2-5 with a double and a RBI. 2018 Bruno Ghisellini would go 3-3 with a home run and Henry Anthony Vilar (Miami) would continue his hot start to the season by going 1-2 with a homerun and three walks. Overall, Westminster would put together nine hits while scoring ten runs.
Trinity’s offense would be led by senior Chad Ragland would would go 3-5 with a double and a RBI out of the leadoff spot. Freshman infielder Bryan Muniz (FIU) would also make a big impact going 3-4 with a RBI.
Both teams showcased over the weekend why they are considered two of the better offensive team in the state.
