Uncommitted second baseman, Gavin Miller, is an above average defender at second base with great footwork and hands. At the plate, his barrel gets through the zone without any lag. He has no wasted movements in his stance. His simplicity at the plate stops him from becoming too rotational and keeps him very balanced.
06/23/18- Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-7, 160 pounds. Defensively, he works low through the ball with rhythm. Hands work well out in front of the body. Offensively, the switch hitter is a near mirror image from both side. Working a bit more crouched left handed he has a bit of a smaller leg kick and stays short to the ball. Right handed, he is slightly more upright with a bigger leg kick. Some length, but shows more strength. Has ability and potential from both sides.
