Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured a hop step for pre pitch timing coupled with a medium-low center of gravity and short quick actions on the approach, quality footwork with a soft glove hand playing out in front, handled the play on the run, accurate high ¾ arm-slot on throws across the diamond.
