OF Dean Moss (IMG Academy) looks the part of future run-producing, middle-of-the-order, left-handed bat. He does not get cheated at the plate, rather, looks to impact the ball with authority on every swing.
8/29/22
IMG has a ton of talent in the ‘25 class and Moss is certainly one of them. 6-foot, 190 pounds. Tremendous bat speed and power potential from the left side. Moss does damage to baseballs. Consistent barrels and drives the ball with intent. Big offensive upside for the Vandy commit.

PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 5-foot-11, 160-pounds. Lean/athletic build w/some present strength & well-proportioned Hit: LHH. Wise and balanced set-up starts w/feet slightly closed and remains so with his stride, reverse slight toe tap move gets weight smoothly to his backside, hands work cleanly and direct to the ball w/oppo spray/slashing type swing, maintains good body control through the swing, power projects nicely as he gains size and strength. Athletic swing that should age well as he develops. Power: 81 mph EV off tee Arm: OF velo - 77 mph (R) - Confident w/his arm, balls leaves hand well and some carry that comes from good finish of the throw utilizing his hips and finish of the shoulder Defense: Well-trained technique and footwork, sees ball well, fields off his left leg and gets to an excellent throwing position which allows for quality release and accuracy. The raw footspeed will have to improve to project off a corner OF spot, but given the overall skill he showed in approaching the ball and getting rid of it he projects as an above average defensive OF Run: 7.66 60-yard
