6-foot-5, 220-pound, larger, wide athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, back is wider, already filling out. A right-handed pitcher, working from a higher slot, pitches downhill, with good extension out front on release. The front side could track longer to plate, pulls off at times. The arm action is longer on the backside, showing hand speed from the side view, has more in the arm over time. The fastball reached 82 mph, plays much harder, a heavy ball with bore action to it. The changeup is a legit pitch, same hand speed as fastball, comes out clean, has fade and drop action to it, a swing and miss offering. The breaking ball has a bigger break, thrown in a the mid 60's, needs more fastball hand speed to it. Zirlis has made major strides in the past 6 months, should have one more good climb in velocity, pitching off of deception, with such a large frame, will be a solid follow.

6-foot-5, 207-pound, large framed athletic body. the shoulders are squared off, back is wide, look for him to be extremely physical at some point. A right-handed pitcher, who pounds the zone with a two pitch mix, at times mixing in a third pitch with the changeup. The delivery is simple, stays over the back side, tall, strong and rides out the back leg. The direction is inline, shows to have some pull with lead arm. The arm action is longer on the backside, working out of a high 3/4 to over the top slot. With room for more extension at the finish. The fastball sat at 76 mph, with more in there. The breaking ball is in the mid 60's, tight spin, spikes it with solid 11/5 break to it. The changeup was clocked at 69-72 mph, downward tumble to it. Look for him to have a breakout year, big follow, should pop at some point.
