The Bats

Colin Telford, Daniel Hand, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, loose hands simple short line drive swing. Approach is to all fields runs well, was  4.20 down the line.

Kyle Suraci, Morgan, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, loose hands, back side approach, tee exit velocity is advanced at 90 mph. Shows above average power to pull side. Look for him to hit at the next level.

Ryan Boyle, Rocky Hill, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, loose hands, middle of the field approach. Shows to have bat speed, had a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. Simple balanced approach.

Jack Pireaux, Daniel Hand, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, balanced approach, swing is level to up, creates some lift, had a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. Took a solid round of batting practice, swung the bat well in game play.

Josh Taylor, Newtown, 2020
Report: A strong physical right-handed hitter, a pull approach, with major power. Took a solid round of batting practice, squared the baseball up in game play collecting a long double.

Drew Errera, Xavier, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, is a an athlete, runs above average, long strider, clocked at 4.41. The hands are loose at the plate, barrel has life and whip out front, tee exit velocity of 84 mph, with a ton more in there.

Ryan Farly, Conard, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, had a huge day at the plate, collecting multiple hite, solid batting practice. The swing is short to contact, level through the zone, runs above average at 4.20.

Luke Zezima, Stratford, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, spread out approach, sprayed line drives all over the field. The hands are loaded, has bat speed, had a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. Look for him to hit.

Matthew D’Amato, Bristol Eastern, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, short quick swing, minimal wasted movement. The approach is line drive from gap to gap. Tee exit velocity was 84 mph.

Andrew Donlan, Avon Old Farms, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, flat set up, swing works with easy effort. Flat swing across the chest, had a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. Swung the bat well all day in batting practice and in game play.

Cole Lalli, Coventry, 2020
Report: A right-handed hitter, oppo approach, spraying line drives all over the yard. Looks athletic, ran well down the line at 4.44. Swung the bat well in game play.

Camedn Lathrop, New Fairfield, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, super athletic, strength throughout. Swing is level to up creating lift and loft. Took a solid round of batting practice, had a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. Look for him to take a big jump in the next 6 months.

Ryan Meyer, Shrewbury, 2021
Report: A right-handed hitter, starts slightly open, loose clean hands. The barrel has life and whip out front, had a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. Showed extremely well during game play.

The Arms

Brandon Stake, RHP, Kingswood, 2020
Report: A right-handed pitcher, delivery is simple, balanced, stays over the back side. The fastball touched 79 mph, with down action. The spin pitch is advanced thrown for strikes, reached 70 mph, punched multiple hitters out with it.

Carter Gange, RHP, Portland, 2020
Report: A right-handed pitcher, more of a sinker slider guy, fastball reached 80 mph, with heavy arm side run. The breaking pitch, reached 67 mph, more of a slurvy break. The delivery is fast paced, jumps out of it bit, could stay back. Look for the velocity to continue to climb.

Walker Sharp, RHP, St. Pauls, 2020
Report: A wiry strong right-handed pitcher, pounded the zone with a nasty 3 pitch mix. The fastball reached 82 mph, located to both sides of the plate. The breaking pitch is advanced, depth and tilt to it, is relentless with it, clocked at 73 mph. Showed feel for the change. Walker was in complete control, dominating performance.

Matthew Wooton, RHP, Foran, 2020
Report: A right-handed pitcher, arm is whippy and quick working out of a ¾ to lower slot. The fastball was up to 81 mph, with late action. Curveball was at 65 mph, more slurve break. The frame is young, strength needed, velocity will climb.

Sean Winiger, RHP, Bristol Central, 2021
Report: A big framed right-hander, arm action is short and clean working from a higher slot. Fastball touched 79 mph, with action, showed the ability to throw changeup when needed at 72-74 mph, works off fastball. Good looking arm in 2021 class.

Ben Brutti, RHP, South Kingstown, 2022
Report: A long and lengthy young right-handed pitcher. The arm action is clean, long and loose, working out of a high ¾ slot. The fastball touched 85 mph, with a breaking ball at 73 mph. Look for him to take off, chance to pitch at a very high level.

Henry Hersum, RHP, Prout School, 2020
Report: A large body, right-handed pitcher, super clean and loose arm action from a high ¾ slot, pitching down hill. The fastball touched 87 mph, with more in the tank. The breaking ball reached 72 mph, with the change up at 78-81 mph, still a work in progress but it's there. Big time sleeper, has a chance to really pitch with velocity at some point.

Daniel Allard, RHP, East Lyme, 2020
Report: A right-hander, with a fastball at 82-83 mph. Pounds the zone, with three pitches, breaking ball is at 70 mph. Solid arm, will throw k’s, look for velocity to climb.

Hayden Miller, RHP, Salisbury, 2022
Report: A right-hander, fastball touched 80 mph, breaking ball in the mid 60’s and changeup at 70 mph. Showed feel for all three pitches. The delivery is on time, simple balanced, with a clean arm. Look for him to be one of the better arms in the class of 2022.

Robert Synodi, LHP, RHAM, 2020
Report:
A left-handed pitcher, fastball touched 80 mph, crossfire delivery, locates to glove side, pitches off of deception. The spin pitch is good, clocked at 70 mph, top pitch uses it well in all counts.
